About Willis
Willis, affectionately known as Willie Boy, is what you get when you combine a hyper goofball with a loyal shadow. He’s a big, strong dog overflowing with energy, happiest when he can follow you from room to room. Willis may be shy when meeting new people, but, given a chance to warm up, he’s leaning in for pets and full attention before you know it. He has learned house skills and can sit on command, especially when snacks are involved. Car rides are a highlight for Willis, and there's nothing he enjoys more than a good walk—just expect some pulling as he sets off in his harness and martingale. He’s always up for tug-of-war, and rope toys are his weakness. At night, Willis sleeps soundly in his crate, but if you’re home during the day, he’d much rather not miss out on any family fun. Because of his size and exuberance, Willis does best in homes with adults or older kids who don’t mind a little bumping from an excited friend. He gets along with other dogs and children. Willis is ready to bring loads of laughter and love to his new home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
