About Muttley D & Jeff
Muttley D & Jeff are a bonded pair of small Chihuahua/Terrier mixes rescued together after being left behind by their previous owner. Muttley, the younger of the two, stands out with his snub nose and round figure—always on the lookout to swipe a treat or two if no one is watching. He’s outgoing right off the bat, eager to meet both people and other dogs, and cats don’t bother him. Jeff, on the other hand, is more reserved, needing a bit of time to warm up in new situations, but once comfortable, becomes a devoted cuddle buddy. To meet them, you’ll need to visit their foster home in the Apple Valley/Lakeville area so Jeff can get to know you at his own pace. Jeff manages a seizure condition with regular medication—about $30/month in cost and easy to administer with a bit of cheese or meat. Both dogs are used to free roam rather than kenneling, and they reliably do their business outside as long as they aren’t left on their own for long periods. They like toys, enjoy tug of war, and love a good walk. In true bonded pair fashion, they’ll need to be adopted together and, once settled, will bring a lot of affection and warmth to your home.
