Sammie is a 14 week old female puppy currently listed as a German Shepherd mix, though we are not entirely convinced and she could just be some type of small terrier breed combination. Whatever she is, she is a great little dog. She currently weighs about 14 pounds and is expected to stay on the smaller to medium side, likely in the 16 to 30 pound range when full grown. She was found in a storm drain and was unable to get out on her own. She is now safe in foster care and doing very well. Sammie has an easygoing and social personality. She is happy, sweet, and outgoing, and she enjoys being around people and other animals. She does well with dogs, cats, and children, and would be a good fit for a wide variety of homes. She loves to run and play and has a fun, playful energy, while also being relatively quiet for a puppy her age. Sammie is fully vetted and ready for adoption. She has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed with a negative fecal, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. She is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, including distemper parvo and Bordetella, and has been cleared by a veterinarian for adoption. She is being fostered in a home environment and is available to meet by approved application and appointment.
