About Lotus

Meet Lotus-The Gentle Soul! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Lotus is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Lotus is a beautiful Siamese girl with a very sensitive heart. The world can feel like a big, scary place to her, so she's looking for a calm, quiet home where she can truly feel safe. She may be shy and fearful at first, but beneath that nervous exterior is a very sweet, loving cat. When given time, patience, and gentle one-on-one attention, Lotus blossoms-leaning into soft scratches and soaking up affection from someone she trusts. Lotus would do best with: -A quiet, low-traffic home -A patient adopter who will let her adjust at her own pace -Minimal noise and few sudden changes Lotus is ~2.5 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! We believe slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, Lotus might be your perfect companion Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
