Drizzle
AvailableDrizzle is a brown and chocolate tabby Domestic Short Hair adult cat in Ridgefield, CT. She is spayed, house trained, and vaccinated, making her ready for adoption into a loving home. Drizzle prefers to be the only pet, and her affectionate, playful personality is waiting to shine with the right family.
About Drizzle
Drizzle lost her world when her owner passed away, and the sudden shift to a foster home with other cats has been tough on her. She’s overwhelmed by the presence of other animals, preferring to stay tucked inside her crate, which has become her sanctuary. When she’s tempted to explore, the scent of other cats sends her right back to her safe spot. Because of this, Drizzle needs a quiet home as the only pet—either permanent or foster-to-adopt—where she can actually start to heal. With people, Drizzle is a loving, affectionate companion who still trusts deeply. She’s talkative and playful, meets you with trills and “dolphin jumps,” and can never resist a cardboard box with a dusting of catnip. She shines when she gets forehead kisses, and her delicate feet and elf-like ears are charming. Nail trims require a “purrito” wrap, but she’s generally easy to handle. Drizzle is already microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, and FIV/FELV negative. What she needs now is a place she can truly call home—with you. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Drizzle and other Domestic Short Hair cats are perfectly content as indoor-only cats and don’t require outdoor space for happiness. Drizzle will enjoy windowsills, boxes, and safe indoor play areas.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Most Domestic Short Hair cats do well with gentle children, but Drizzle needs a peaceful, adult home as the only pet, so children may not be the best fit for her sensitive temperament.
