But what truly makes Rascal unforgettable is his incredible journey—and the second chance he’s been given. Rascal was brought into a local vet clinic with a urinary issue, something that’s actually quite common in male cats. Sadly, his previous owners weren’t able to afford his care and chose euthanasia. Thankfully, a compassionate vet tech couldn’t let that happen. She stepped in, took ownership of Rascal, and made sure he received the treatment he needed. Because of her, Rascal is alive today and ready for a fresh start. Now healthy and thriving, Rascal is on a special urinary diet (very common for male cats) to help keep him feeling his best long-term. He’s a friendly, affectionate boy who enjoys people and does well with other cats. He has a calm, loving nature and will happily be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, or your quiet companion. Despite everything he’s been through, Rascal is still trusting, gentle, and full of love. He truly deserves a forever home where he will be cherished and never face uncertainty again. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
