About Simon & Baxter
Simon & Baxter are a bonded pair of young male kittens who started life outdoors with their feral mother, but have warmed up to all the comforts of indoor living since being rescued. They're currently being fostered in Montevallo with a lively home environment—think teenagers, dogs, and other cats—so they've learned to navigate both animal and human company well. These two are funny, sweet, and happy together, and their personalities shine when they're playing or cuddling up for a nap. Both kittens are neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. Simon has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, while Baxter tested FIV-positive as a kitten but will be retested now that he’s older. FIV is transmitted only through blood, so both boys will thrive as indoor-only cats—a lifestyle they're perfectly happy with. These boys get along with cats, dogs, and kids, making them strong candidates for a friendly, active household. They’ll bring a lot of love, laughter, and companionship to anyone ready for double the purring. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
