About Sage
Sage is a six-month-old heeler/shepherd mix ready to bring lots of love and energy into your life. She’s been thriving in her foster home in Washington, DC, where she enjoys romping around with other dogs and loves following their lead on walks. Sage also does well with cats and is friendly with kids as long as they respect her space. She might be a little shy at first when meeting new people but quickly becomes playful and affectionate, especially in calmer environments. Sage is looking for a household that can keep up with her puppy energy—she’ll need plenty of playtime, chances for zoomies, and lots of snuggles. She’s still working on her house training and will benefit from a basic obedience class to build her confidence and skills. Because she’s a young pup, she’ll need frequent potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Sage’s vaccinations are up to date for her age, and she is already spayed. If you’re ready to give Sage the structure, socialization, and affection she needs, she’ll pay it back in endless loyalty and fun. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
