Henry is a big, fluffy guy looking for a place to truly belong. He’s an Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer mix—sharp, energetic, and sociable. At about three years old, he still brings plenty of young-dog energy to the table. He enjoys long walks where he can sniff around and explore, but he’s just as content to wind down with some close-up cuddle sessions. Henry gets along well with other dogs and likes making new canine friends. He’d love quality kibble and a soft spot to rest his head, but what matters to him most is finding a home where he’s valued and safe. Henry is currently in a South Carolina foster home but is ready to move to the DC area. He’s looking for either a temporary foster or a forever home, whichever comes first. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Keep in mind, house training is still a work in progress.
