About Roo
Roo is a playful, cuddly Lab mix puppy who’s eager to find her forever home in Washington, DC. At about five months old, Roo is still all puppy—into everything fun, curious about the world, and happiest when she’s with her people or her dog friends. She’s growing into her confidence and has started to come out of her shell; her foster mentions that she loves wrestling with her foster siblings, adores toys, and only barks when trying to entice other dogs to play. Roo is sweet-natured, fairly quiet around the house, and already shows signs of being a fantastic family companion. As a young pup, she needs patient house training, lots of play and exercise breaks throughout the day, and continued socialization to keep her flourishing. She gets along well with other dogs and, with the right introductions and structure, would likely fit in great with kids and cats too. This girl is spayed and up to date on her vaccines for her age. She’s ready to share her love and energy with a home that’s up for the joy (and the work) of raising a young Lab mix. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
