Oakley is a little beauty with a big heart who is ready to find the loving forever home she has been waiting for. She came to K-9 Lifesavers from a shelter in Alabama, where she had been since she was just six weeks old. Now five months old, Oakley has finally made her way north with the hope of trading shelter life for the warmth and comfort of a real home. Oakley is what we like to call a true “Heinz 57” mix — a little bit of everything that adds up to 100% adorable. At just 12 pounds at five months old, she is likely to stay on the smaller side. What she may lack in size, she more than makes up for in sweetness. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a calm, gentle disposition that is impressive for a puppy her age. Oakley enjoys companionship and would do great in a home with another dog or with people ready to give her the love and attention she deserves. At this age, Oakley is in the perfect stage for training and socialization. With a little guidance and lots of love, she will grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
