Dog's Name: Pup Cubby (CUB0426ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Chihuahua mix Approximate Age: 7 months Approximate Weight: 12 LBS Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Cubby — your future snuggle buddy! At just 7 months old and a perfect 12 pounds, Cubby is a tiny bundle of sweetness who's ready to find the forever family he's been dreaming of. This adorable Chihuahua mix made his way from Alabama in search of a fresh start—and he's hoping it begins with you. Cubby is the definition of a cuddle bug. His favorite place in the world? Curled up in your arms, soaking in all the love and reassurance you have to give. He can be a little shy at first, but with love and a bit of patience, his true personality will blossom. Having lived in a home with multiple dogs, Cubby is comfortable around canine friends and would likely enjoy a calm, friendly pup to help show him the ropes. Whether he joins a home with another dog or becomes your one-and-only, what he really needs is a kind heart and a cozy place to call his own. Could it be yours? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
