Meet Lua! This delightful girl is ~8 years old, spayed, and will be microchipped and up to date on vaccinations when she goes home. Lua is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She just wants all the love and is over the moon when you give her your attention! She formerly lived as an outdoor dog, and would love a comfy home to retire in. Don’t let her seniority fool you though—she can be quite active and would love to go on lots of walks and play lots of games of fetch! Throw her a ball and see how fast she can really get going! Her previous owners indicated that she lived around chickens, but hasn’t been around cats. She is quite scared of the loud dogs here at the shelter, but she did live with another female dog in the past. If you do have another dog in the home, we do require a dog introduction to be done here at the shelter. We also offer a seven-day foster period to ensure a good fit for the whole family. Interested in meeting Lua or any of our other adoptable pets? Feel free to stop by the shelter during our open hours of 2pm-6pm Monday-Saturday. Dog kennels close at 5pm and adoptions end at 5:30pm.
