Meet Kane - a gentle, well-mannered young dog with a sweet and steady personality. At 2 years old and 55 pounds, Kane is an easygoing companion who is a joy to spend time with. He is easy to get in and out of the kennel and transitions smoothly into new environments. On leash, Kane walks well with just a mild pull when he gets excited. He enjoys getting out for walks and would make a great partner for hikes and outdoor adventures. He stays alert to his surroundings but does not attempt to chase wildlife, making outings calm and enjoyable. Kane rides great in the car and settles in nicely for the trip. He is also housetrained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. He knows "sit" and is a polite, respectful dog when meeting people-he greets everyone kindly without jumping up. Kane is affectionate and enjoys being close to his people, showing off his gentle and loving nature. Around other dogs, Kane shows positive, relaxed body language at a distance, indicating he may do well with proper introductions. He also handles new experiences well overall, including bath time-while a bit apprehensive at first, he tolerates it and does well with a calm approach. Kane isn't overly motivated by treats, but he is attentive and eager to connect, making him a great candidate for continued bonding and training. Overall, Kane is a very sweet, gentle dog who would thrive in a home looking for a calm, affectionate, and well-behaved companion.
