About Chance
Chance is a young, mixed-breed Pit Bull Terrier who found himself in a tough spot when his previous owners couldn’t take him back. At a little over a year old and weighing about 75 pounds, he’s a friendly, playful, big dog who loves people and being part of the action. Chance thrives on attention—think belly rubs, cuddles, and playing with other dogs. He listens when corrected and is both house and crate trained. At night or when no one is home he settles fine in his crate, though he can get anxious if he hears people in another room. Occasional anxiety chews help him chill out if needed. He’s still young and spirited, so he sometimes tries to grab things he shouldn’t or knocks into people and furniture by accident. He responds to ‘no’ but sometimes struggles with his size when he gets excited. Chance would do best in a home with older kids or no kids, as his enthusiasm can be overwhelming for the little ones. He enjoys other dogs but seems equally content as a solo pup if he has lots of people time and a fenced yard to romp in. He’s reportedly been around cats with no issues. Boarding staff loved having him, describing him as their favorite guest even among other dogs and kids. Chance is neutered, vaccinated, and comes with his original paperwork and a large crate if needed. He’s located in Greensboro, NC. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
