I'm Teddy--a big hearted, handsome boy with polka dot ears and I'm a heck of a SOCIAL BUTTERFLY. I get so excited when my foster mom comes home from work that I can hardly contain myself. I'm the kind of dog who LOVES DEEPLY, leans in for affection and never says no to a good belly rub. I love meeting new people so if you need a coffee shop partner or an outdoor partner, I'm happy to join in with you. Teddy is a super AFFECTIONATE people loving pup wo enjoys everyone he meets from little kids to older adults. He gets along well with other dogs and loves having canine friends to run, romp and play with. WATER might just be one of his favorite things in the world whether it's splashing in a puppy pool or chasing a hose spray nozzle. Rescue can't image how he would respond to a beach trip or swimming. He's crate and house trained, does well on leash and loves to explore. Teddy knows how to sit, though his enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of him in the moment. On leash he focuses better, and he takes TREATS very GENTLY which adds to his SWEET NATURE. This energetic boy would love a family who is active family who loves to hike, camp, swim or whatever they enjoy. After a fun filled day, Teddy is more than happy to settle inf or a well-earned nap, soaking up the comfort of home and love. Oh-his name suits him per his foster mom as he is a big Teddy bear. Teddy's story hasn't been simple-he was originally adopted by a young girl in the city, but when found later, his microchip traced back to her father who had no idea Teddy was 2.5 hour away. The daughter nor her dad every reached out to claim him and now Teddy is ready for a fresh start. He's ready for a forever home where he will never be confused, forgotten or left behind again--just loved, included and happiness with a new family.
