About Vanna
Meet Vanna, a 4-year-old spayed and vaccinated German Shepherd mix with plenty of personality and a big heart. She’s playful, affectionate, and tends to act as a velcro dog—always wanting to be close to her people, whether you’re chilling at home or off on an adventure. Vanna thrives in an active setting and enjoys walks, car rides, and especially playing fetch. She’s trustworthy at home, free-roaming without issue or destruction, and just wants to be with her favorite humans. Vanna is best as the only dog in a household. With very well-matched, large dogs over 90 lbs, she can be playful under the right circumstances. However, she’s not comfortable with smaller dogs and can be reactive on leash, so training and continued leash work are important. She does well with dog-savvy cats. Around strangers, Vanna might be reserved at first, but she stays friendly and warms up as she gets to know you. She hasn’t lived with children but may do well with older, dog-experienced kids who understand boundaries. Vanna has a few areas she’s working on: resource guarding with food, toys, and her people, along with fine-tuning her leash manners and potty training. Accidents still happen from time to time, but she is crate trained and settles easily into a regular home routine. She’ll need patience, consistency, and structure in her next home—plus reassurance and lots of affection to help her continue to grow and flourish. Fun fact: Vanna was born on September 26, making her a Libra. Libras are known for their loyal nature, which suits her perfectly. Your new best friend is just one click away.
