About Honey

Meet Honey! Honey came into CCHS as an owner surrender earlier this April after her owner was finding it difficult to keep up with her care. This beautiful Poodle mix is about 8 months old and weighs roughly 37.2lbs currently. Honey is as sweet as her name suggests! She has a constant wag in her tail and smile across her face; she just can't wait to find her furever family to share her joy with! We can't say we know for certain what her exact breed makeup is, but we can tell you she is 100% Northern Wisconsin Smiling Snuggler! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Honey today! Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $350. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
