Squirrel came to us after spending a week stuck in a tree. Lost West Milford Pets teamed up with a professional climber, and thanks to their diligence and care, this little kitty was brought down unscathed in the pouring rain. Despite being posted for weeks, no one has come forward for her. Squirrel is about 5 years old and a very loving girl; she gives her belly and a passionate purr to anyone who visits. She has a unique poofy coat with softness in every direction, and she is thrilled to be petted. She is a pudgy ball of affection. She resides in our Middle Cattery with three other kitty roommates. Squirrel does wonderfully with them all. She is very people-oriented and is looking forward to meeting her new family. She will be ready to go home in May, but can be visited as we speak! Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our cats. We do not adopt first come; we always select the best placement for our animals. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a cat.   Our adoption fee is $50 for cats. This includes FIV/FeLV testing, flea/tick preventatives, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter if six months or older.
