About Gillian

Is she part cow, part kitten? Gillian's black and white spots might have you guessing, but she's all cat—an energetic, quirky, short-haired youngster with a playful spirit. About a year old, Gillian takes some time to open up, but with patience and kindness, she begins to show her true personality. Quiet moments bring out her best: she loves batting toys around at night and greeting the morning by birdwatching from her favorite window perch in the cattery. Gillian feels safest with feline friends nearby and finds comfort in the company of other cats. She enjoys interactive play with feather wands and has no problem accepting treats and a little gentle attention from people, even treating volunteers to a quick hand-lick to clean up the crumbs. A busy shelter isn't her dream setting, but a calm home with at least one resident cat will give her the security she needs to flourish. Cat-experienced adopters who ‘get’ shy kitties will have the best luck winning her trust. Gillian is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and house trained. She’s ready to leave the noise behind and settle into a caring home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
