About Mother Goose
Mother Goose is a golden tabby chinchilla Persian with a soft, plush coat and striking green eyes that she shares with her daughter, Duck. These two are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together—they have always relied on one another for companionship and security. Mother Goose, the older of the pair, is gentle and reserved, cautious around new people but deeply affectionate once she settles in. She’s experienced some stress in her past and it shows in her thoughtful, soulful gaze. Despite this, she’s sweet-natured and full of quiet love that blossoms in a calm, consistent environment. Persians like Mother Goose are all about gentle, steady affection. She doesn’t do well with loud noises, chaos, or roughhousing—rowdy dogs or very young, boisterous kids aren’t a match for her calm energy. Other easygoing cats could work well with her. She seeks a home where people spend lots of time around, giving her the safety and routine she craves. Both Mother Goose and Duck hope for a family who will cherish them and perhaps even give them new names for their new chapter. In return, their humans will get the kind of unwavering loyalty and warmth only a Persian can give. Mother Goose is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, and litter-box perfect. She’s fostered in Santa Cruz, but waiting in Davis, CA for someone special to give these lovely Persians a true forever home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
