Meet Brownie! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who’s already put in the work to be her best self, Brownie is your girl. This beautiful Hound / Shepherd mix has the cutest ear flip, an expressive face, and a personality that will keep you smiling every day. Brownie is an active, happy dog who loves being part of whatever you’re doing—whether that’s chasing a ball, going for a car ride, or splashing around with her favorite toys. She has a great balance of playful energy and affection, and once she bonds with you, she’ll be your constant companion. She has recently completed a board and train program, where she worked on her manners, structure, and confidence. Brownie knows her basics and thrives with clear guidance and consistency. She’s looking for a committed adopter who will continue reinforcing her training so she can keep growing and succeed in a home environment. Brownie does best with slow introductions to other dogs and can be vocal at times, but with leadership and routine, she settles in nicely. She forms strong bonds with her people and will be incredibly devoted to her family. Brownie is fostered in Texas. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep’s Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, FaceTime, etc). Adoption Fee: $300 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state, varies by location). This includes vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee), spay/neuter, and heartworm test if over 6 months old.
