Fernando is a big, goofy Golden Retriever mix with a larger than life personality. He came to Colorado from a very overcrowded situation in Texas and hasn't let his past slow him down one bit. He is as happy, playful, and silly as they come. Fernando is truly a bull in a china shop. He is large, strong, and doesn't always realize his size, especially when he gets excited. He loves people and is full of enthusiasm, but he will need a home that can handle his strength and help him continue working on manners. He does pull on leash and will benefit from consistent training and structure. He is super dog friendly and is currently living with an XL male dog and a cat. He enjoys having canine companions and would likely do well in a home with another dog who can match his energy and play style. Because of his size and energy level, Fernando is not a good fit for a home with young children. He would do best with an active adopter who can give him an outlet for his energy and continue guiding him as he learns. Fernando is a fun loving dog who will bring a lot of joy and personality into the right home.
