Edie came from a situation where she didn’t have human socialization. Edie wasn’t as brave as her brother Freddie but she has made a lot of progress. We started out very slow. As her foster I would just sit by her kennel. She would get startled easily. But then started taking treats from me & also licking my hand. She just recently started to let me pet her & scratch her ears & back. She is such a sweet girl. She also needs a calm, patient family that will take their time with her. She is really a darling girl that will give you lots of kisses when she starts to trust you. Edie is approximately 8 months old. She is ready to meet her forever family. She loves other dogs too. So having another dog in her new family would be a bonus. I am a puppy mill release and have likely been starved from human affection as a puppy. Therefore, I am going to require extra patience as I am not a typical puppy.
