Or, for this girl, a dough-like mass made of soft fur, perfect for cuddling on the couch! Mochi is a sweet husky mix who is learning what it means to feel safe and loved in a home. She’s adjusting beautifully and showing just how gentle and thoughtful she is. So far, she’s getting along well with her foster brother, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever, and has politely ignored her foster sister—a truly spicy kitty who hates everything. Mochi also lives with two younger humans (ages 8 and 11) and has been very kind and patient with them. She’s still a little unsure about going outside, but she does venture out to go potty and has been sleeping quietly through the night.
