Cali is a young, large American Bulldog/American Bully mix with a short coat. She is not yet house trained and has not been spayed. Cali is currently in Cranston, RI, waiting to join a new family.

About Cali

Cali is making her debut as a program dog at Handsome Dan’s Rescue, and she brings the full package: soft, smooshy charisma and an affectionate nature that wins people over fast. Although she has a sturdy build, Cali moves with care and is aware of her surroundings, which means she is comfortable around young kids. At the same time, Cali absolutely gives off "only child" energy—she wants to be the star of the household and prefers living solo when it comes to other animals. She’s gotten plenty of admiration from volunteers; Matt Rose was especially eager to be her handler for training and community adventures, so Cali will be out and about making friends and representing well. Her previous family had to rehome her due to losing their housing, not for any lack of love or care—Cali’s always been cherished.
