Hi, I'm Rocket — and yes, the name fits. I am five months old, seven pounds of pure chaos and affection, and I have never once been accused of being chill. I came into DARE because a little boy I loved turned out to be allergic to me (not my fault, not his fault, just tragic for everyone). My first family loved me enough to find me a better situation, and now I'm here, ready to launch myself directly into your life and your lap. I like walks. I like zoomies. I like riding in my backpack like a tiny king. I like YOU, probably, and I just met you. My Ideal Home I'm good with other dogs, kids of all ages, men, and women — I'm pretty adaptable for a little guy. I'd thrive somewhere with an active lifestyle and someone willing to take me outside often so I can keep working on my potty training. Not sure about cats yet — that's still TBD. A Few Important Things to Know Still potty training: I'm mostly there! I'll go outside reliably if you take me out frequently. Consistency is key — I'm smart and I pick things up fast. Crate nights are rough: I've been sleeping in a crate and I am NOT quiet about my feelings. My foster thinks I might do better in the big bed. Worth exploring together. I am vocal: I have opinions and I will share them. Loudly. If you need a silent dog, I am not your guy. Neutering required: I'm not neutered yet, but my adopter must commit to getting that done. It's part of the deal — non-negotiable. Velcro tendencies: I am affectionate. Very. If you wanted personal space, maybe a goldfish? What I Bring to the Table I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and healthy as can be. I'm smart, sweet, and so ready to be someone's everything.
