Sweet Rosie is looking for her happy ending 🐶💗 Rosie’s story began in such a sad way — curled up underneath a neighborhood sign, alone, scared, and shaking. When she was found, she seemed like a dog who had been through too much already. But even though she was frightened, Rosie was still gentle. Still sweet. Still hoping someone would be kind to her. A kind woman took Rosie in and has done her best to care for her, but Rosie needs more time, patience, and attention than she is able to give. Because of mobility issues, she knows she cannot work with Rosie the way this sweet girl truly deserves. Rosie is a medium-sized girl with a loving heart. She is good with their 12-year-old child and seems to just want attention and affection. She does like to jump, but it appears to be excitement and attention-seeking — not aggression. She is the kind of dog who seems to be asking, in the only way she knows how, for someone to love her. She has not yet been vetted, so her exact age is unknown. We are guessing she is around 2-4 years old. The rescue will cover her costs to get spayed and up to date on shots. She is currently outside during the day, but comes inside at night and sleeps in a crate. Her behavior with other dogs is unknown at this time. Rosie has already known fear. We would love for her to finally know safety. She has already known uncertainty. We would love for her to finally know what it feels like to belong.
