 This loyal, sweet, and playful girl has that easygoing, front-porch kind of charm. She’s happiest just being with her person, whether that’s hanging out in the yard, tagging along on daily adventures, or sticking close as your loyal little shadow. 
 Lainey absolutely loves people, especially kids, and has a way of making fast friends wherever she goes. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and would fit right into a home with furry siblings or as your one-and-only sidekick.
 Originally coming from a more outdoor lifestyle, Lainey has adjusted beautifully to home life and is loving all the comforts that come with it. She’s relaxed, affectionate, and always ready to soak up attention or enjoy some time outside. She’s potty trained and crate trained and working on her leash manners.. it’s new for her! 
 Her personality is the perfect blend of playful and calm. She’s down for fun when you are, but just as happy to kick back and keep you company.

She came to B&B with her littermates as a part of an accidental litter on a farm that was owner surrendered. She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
