About Ducky
Ducky is a 3-year-old Belgian Tervuren bursting with personality and a strong desire to be constantly close to his people. He’s 85 lbs of pure affection, always convinced he makes the ideal lap dog in any situation, whether lounging in the sun, curled up on the couch, or stretched out in bed. His love of snuggling is as outsized as his presence. Ducky still has some rough edges and is working through his manners—he can get a little mouthy and, at times, pushy with other male dogs or dogs of similar size. He responds to correction, especially with someone comfortable handling intelligent, assertive breeds. Ducky marks outdoors but has shown good habits inside. He takes joy in training sessions and other kinds of mental enrichment, and requires an adopter who knows Belgian Tervurens or high-drive breeds well. For Ducky, an experienced handler is non-negotiable, and a fenced yard is required. A strict training contract with an approved trainer is part of his adoption. Ducky is currently in Baton Rouge, LA.
