Meet Olive! She is a mixed breed female, around 1 year and 7 months old, weighing about 25 lbs. Olive is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, and she’s also heartworm negative and microchipped. This timid girl came to us from a hoarding situation, having spent much of her life locked away. As a result, she’s still quite shy and would thrive in a home with a confident dog who can show her the ropes and play with her as she grows more comfortable in her environment. Olive behaves well in the house; she is crate trained and doesn’t have accidents. She knows commands like sit and touch and is learning more each day. She enjoys playing with squeaky and crinkle toys, as well as following her foster mom around the house. She requires a securely fenced yard for her safety and prefers a quiet environment, as loud noises and quick movements can frighten her. We recommend no young children in the home, although she may tolerate older kids who know how to go slow. Training with a professional is necessary, as Olive is not recommended for first-time pet owners. Please consider giving Olive the loving home she deserves! Every animal deserves a happy ending.
