Meet Marmalade 🧡🖤🤍 Marmalade is a tiny, one-year-old calico with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After being unfairly tossed outside by her former owners when they brought home a new cat, she’s more than ready for a real forever home—one that won’t give up on her. Because she lost the only home she knew, Marmalade can be a little cautious at first. She just needs a minute to take it all in and feel safe again. But once she settles? Oh, you’re in for a treat. This girl is one of the best biscuit makers we’ve ever seen—seriously, it’s a full-time job for her. She’s sweet, affectionate, and clearly relieved to be back inside where she belongs, surrounded by love and comfort. She loves attention and will happily demand it from her foster mom, so her forever home should be one that can give her the time and affection she deserves. Marmalade does like other cats, but she’ll need slow, proper introductions. If she shares her home, we recommend a laid-back boy kitty who’s happy to let her take the wheel—because despite her tiny size, she absolutely has opinions. If you’re patient and willing to give her the time she needs, Marmalade will reward you with love, loyalty, and top-tier biscuit production. She’s been through enough. Now she’s ready to stay. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
