Meet Gideon Gideon is a 4-year-old orange and white heartthrob who somehow found himself dining with a feral colony… and then very casually invited himself inside like he had always belonged there. (Honestly, fair.) After showing up at a kind person's house, Gideon made it clear he was not about that outdoor life. Within days, he was coming inside, and shortly after that, he was sleeping in her bed like a longtime roommate. It’s pretty obvious—this boy was someone’s pet at some point, and he hasn’t forgotten how to love. Gideon is everything you want in a companion: super affectionate, incredibly handsome, and wonderfully chill. He enjoys attention, leans into pets, and is just an easy, lovable presence to have around. He gets along well with other cats and would likely do great in a home with a feline friend. We’re not sure yet how he feels about dogs or young kids, but his laid-back nature suggests he may do just fine with proper, slow introductions. Now all Gideon needs is a forever home where he can settle in for good—preferably one with a cozy bed, loving humans, and zero expectations of ever going back outside. He’s ready. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
