While this young girl may not have known a home life before (she came from a partner shelter), the first thing she did was crawl up in a volunteer's lap to bask in the joy of human companionship. When that wasn't enough, she boosted herself up on their shoulders and rested her head softly on them in a hug. Lassie is young and ready to learn what it's like to be loved!
