My name is Harley, and I’m a 3.5-year-old full-breed Pug with a heart of gold, a dash of "Velcro," and a past life as a famous escape artist. But don't let my criminal record fool you—I’ve officially retired from the "Midnight Run" business and traded my wandering paws for professional cuddling. 🕵️‍♂️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 (𝗥𝗲𝘁.) You might have heard the rumors. Yes, I was surrendered because I liked to "go on adventures" a bit too much. My previous humans found me a little too fast for comfort! But here’s the inside scoop: I just had a lot of pent-up energy and nowhere to put it. Since being in my foster home, I’ve realized that 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 (about an hour is my sweet spot!) are way better than escaping. When I get my exercise, I am a total gentleman. I stay close, I listen to my name, and I’ve decided that "staying with my person" is a much better gig than "wandering the streets of Aurora." 🛋️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗼𝗴 If you are looking for personal space, please look elsewhere. I am a Pug through and through, which means I take my job as your shadow very seriously. • 𝗛𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲: Lying as close to you as physically possible, cuddling, and making sure you never feel lonely. • 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗠𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘆" 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗸: Sometimes I put my mouth on your hands or arms. I’m not biting (I promise!). It’s just how I talk when I’m frustrated or overstimulated. I’m currently learning that "mouths are for snacks, not for Mamas," and I’m making great progress! 👑 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮" 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 I’ll be honest—I’m a bit of a king. I like to be the Top Dog. I would be perfectly happy as your 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆, but I can coexist with other dogs if they are submissive, playful, and don't mind that I want to be the star of the show. I think kids would be a blast—more small humans to run around with and help me burn off my Pug-zoomies! 🥗 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 Okay, so maybe I enjoyed my previous "free-feeding" lifestyle a little too much. I’m currently on a weight-loss plan to get my sleek Pug physique back. My foster Mama feeds me a gourmet mix of 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳-𝗸𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳-𝗿𝗮𝘄, and let me tell you, I am never going back to plain dry pellets.
