Onyx is currently on a specialized journey to regain her health and reach her ideal weight, and she is looking for a patient companion to cheer her on as she fills out and finds her strength. Onyx is the ultimate "velcro dog" in the making. Her favorite place in the entire world is on her bed, tucked right next to your feet while you work or relax. While she is still coming out of her shell and isn't the most active girl yet, she has a calm, gentle presence that anchors a room. She is already crate trained and gets along famously with other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household. Because she is still learning how to be a pampered indoor pet, she would thrive most with an experienced adopter who understands large breeds and can provide the consistent nutrition and TLC she needs.
