Domino The phrase Tiny but mighty fits Domino well . At barely 3 pounds, she is right in there with her siblings playing and trying new things and she lets them know that she is boss. She is playful and spunky, but always ready to settle down for a good snuggle when playtime is over. Her mom is a poodle or possibly poodle mix who was rescued in Texas. She came to her foster home when she was pregnant. Domino and her brothers and sisters were born in their foster home and raised as part of the family. Domino is looking for a forever family who understands the time commitment of a young puppy. She is looking for a family who will continue with socializing and training. Due to her petite size, a family without young children would be the best fit for her. Domino will need regular grooming approximately every 6 to 8 weeks PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. The adoption fee is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior by the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is by 7 months of age. It is the responsibility of the adopter to bring the adopted puppy back to the rescue vet for spaying/neutering or, if they choose, to send verification from their own vet (at the adopter's own cost) that the puppy had been spayed/neutered. All of our dogs will be microchipped. We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
