Richard is approximately 12.5 years old and a very friendly, affectionate cat with stunning eyes. He likes to spend time with his people and purrs a lot. He was an excellent companion to his previous owner. He just had his vet care updated and is ready for adoption. If he is adopted by a senior, there is no adoption fee. He lived with another cat and has been exposed to gentle dogs. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
