My name is Kevin and I'm a sweet, smart, and mostly independent 6-7 year old orange tabby with a lot of personality. I am FIV+ but a healthy guy with a long life ahead of me. I like to hang out near you — I love being in the kitchen when you're cooking — but I also enjoy my own space. I love perching up high watching everything that goes on. If you are my favorite person, I may sit on your lap or snuggle at night with you a few times a week to show you that I really do love you. I am very playful, especially with my kick stick, and do so in short, powerful bursts once or twice a day. One of my most endearing qualities is my meow — it sounds like a grumpy old man, and it is absolutely adorable according to my family. I'd do best with no small children since I will let you know that I'm not in the mood to be bothered so I'm not needy and would do well in a home where someone might be out of the house more than not.
