About Danny
Danny is a soulful, gentle coonhound mix who’s just hoping for a calm, safe spot to land after a long stint of uncertainty. He's strikingly docile and thrives on affection—simply being close to his people seems to fill him up. Sharing quiet time and small gestures of comfort are what Danny lives for. Danny would do best in a peaceful home with easygoing folks whose pace matches his laid-back way. Right now, he’s in need of a helping hand: recent medical tests mean his future needs are a bit unclear, so we’re searching for a caring foster who can give him time to decompress and heal while we wait for more answers. If you’re able to offer him a quiet refuge, even for a while, you’d truly be changing his story. Danny gets along with other dogs but doesn’t do well with cats. He isn't yet house trained but does well in calm company and will likely blossom in the right space. He deserves someone who will see his heart and offer the comfort and care he’s missed. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
