About Elle — The Pocket

Elle may be a petite Great Pyrenees at just 49lbs, but don’t let her size fool you — this girl carries the full Pyrenees sweetness in a perfectly huggable package. About a year old, she’s a medium‑energy pup with a calm, gentle spirit and a disposition that makes everyone who meets her fall a little in love. Due to her size and looks, we think she may have some Golden in her. Elle is tender, affectionate, and naturally on the submissive side. She’s not the “in your face” type — she’s the soft, soulful companion who quietly leans in for love and melts under your hand. If you’re looking for a dog with a peaceful heart and a sweet, steady presence, she’s your girl. A Social Butterfly in a Small Body Despite her smaller size, Elle has a huge friend group. She plays beautifully with dogs of every shape and size — from senior German Shepherds to fluffy Great Pyrenees, energetic Poodles, tiny Chihuahuas, and sweet Lhasa Apsos. She doesn’t care about breed or stature; if you’re kind and want to play or share a sunny patch of grass, she’s all in. Home & Manners Elle gets along wonderfully with the other dogs at the ranch. We believe she may be housebroken, though she’ll need a little time to adjust to a new routine. Leash walking is still a work in progress — she’s the type who would rather flop over for a belly rub than take a stroll, which honestly just adds to her charm. Once your application is approved, we can schedule a FaceTime call so you can meet her “virtually” and get to know her personality. Understanding Transport After approval, dogs are scheduled for transport through AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means your dog will travel safely and comfortably in a climate‑controlled van—heated or air‑conditioned as needed—from our dog ranch in Fulshear, TX to a designated meeting point near you. Each transport is staffed by a team of two drivers who rotate driving duties. The driver who is not behind the wheel will provide real‑time updates in a group chat. You’ll be added to this chat so you can follow your dog’s journey, receive the exact meeting location, and get the estimated arrival time. Our drivers work hard to stay on schedule, but factors like traffic or weather can cause delays—or sometimes early arrivals. You’ll be kept updated throughout the trip. Dogs make regular stops for bathroom breaks, short walks, and meals. For safety, all dogs remain crated during transport. We’ve used this transport service for years because we truly believe it’s the best in the region. Andrea and her team provide first‑class care every step of the way.
