About Benny
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Benny! He was rescued after being found as a stray and has shown a true resilient spirit. Benny is believed to be a Blue Lacy mix, a hardworking and alert breed with lots of energy and a deep love for having a job to do. Benny is about a year old and weighs approximately 65 pounds, sporting a smooth short coat in beautiful shades of gray, blue, and apricot. He has completed an intense four-week board and train program and continued working with an in-house trainer and his foster dad. Benny thrives as the only dog in the home and would do best with a family that does not have other dogs or young children. While his past has made him wary around other pups, he continues to practice with trainers to help manage his excitement around them. Despite this, Benny is a lovable goofball who can play independently and adores human companionship—he just needs someone to connect with and a peaceful environment to call home. Benny will do best with a family ready to continue his training, offer plenty of exercise, provide things to chew on, and create a safe space for him to rebuild his trust. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and playful companion who will always have your back, Benny is waiting for you. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
