Meet Tango ✠̈ Tango came to us from Brockton Animal Control after a few tours of duty, and while her journey hasn’t been easy, she continues to show up with nothing but love to give. Tango is the sweetest girl with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Though she’s been misunderstood and moved around more than she deserved, she remains incredibly gentle, affectionate, and eager to connect. All she truly wants is to be part of a family who will love her as much as she loves them. This stunning girl has a beautiful champagne coat that turns heads everywhere she goes but it’s her personality that really makes her a showstopper. Anyone would want to dance through life with a girl like Tango by their side. She’s the definition of a people dog: full-body wiggles, happy greetings, and lots (and lots) of kisses. Tango is a total velcro girl who wants to be close to her people at all times, soaking up every bit of love and attention she can get. Tango absolutely loves to play. Her energy comes in joyful bursts—zoomies, silly moments, and excited greetings then followed by time spent relaxing close to her people. She’s also a foodie and takes treats so gently, like the polite lady she is. She walks beautifully on leash without pulling, but she loves being outside—whether it’s a long adventure or a slow, sniff-filled stroll where she can take in the world at her own pace. Tango truly enjoys the little things. At home, she prefers being part of the action rather than in a crate. She wants to be included like snuggling up in bed, lounging nearby, or following you from room to room. She’s also not quite aware of her size, which just adds to her charm—she’ll happily climb in for cuddles like she’s a tiny lap dog. Tango does have some past trauma, and there are moments where she can feel unsure or a little scared. But with patience, reassurance, and love, she continues to blossom more every day. She is such an easy, loving dog who just needs someone to show her she’s safe for good. She bonds deeply with her people and would thrive in a home where she’s not left alone for long stretches—someone who wants a true companion by their side.
