Meet Gumberg 🐾 Almost 1 year old Gumberg’s life began the hardest way possible. In the winter of 2025, when he was just a tiny puppy, Gumberg was thrown away like trash. A passerby heard faint crying coming from a garbage container — and that’s how his life was saved. He was brought to us, to Pet-a-tet Rescue Shelter in Montenegro, where he has been ever since. Almost a year has passed… and Gumberg is still waiting. Because he is black and has a little pit-like face, adopters often scroll past him without a second glance. But those who know him will tell you the truth: there are few dogs more loving, grateful, and gentle than Gumberg. He has the kindest soul. He is deeply affectionate, loyal, and human-oriented. Gumberg doesn’t ask for much — just a warm voice, a soft touch, and someone who will finally call him family.
