Dog's Name: Halo (HAL0426ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Mountain Cur / Lab mix Approximate Age: 8 months Approximate Weight: 28 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Introducing Halo — a young Mountain Cur/Lab mix who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. When Halo first meets new people, she can be a little shy and unsure—but give her a little time, and you'll see her true self start to shine. Beneath that initial shyness is an incredibly sweet, loving girl who wants nothing more than to feel safe and cherished. Halo gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats, making her a wonderful addition to a home with existing furry family members. She takes comfort in the presence of other animals and would likely thrive with a confident canine buddy to help show her the ropes. If you believe that the best bonds are built on trust, love, and a little bit of patience, Halo just might be your perfect match. Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
