Dog's Name: Griff (GRI0226ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Mountain Cur / Plott Hound mix Approximate Age: 10 months Approximate Weight: 38 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Griff — A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold Griff is a handsome brindle boy who is shy when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. And when he does? You'll see his sweet, loyal nature shine. He does well with confident dogs who can help show him the ropes and reassure him that the world isn't such a scary place after all. A steady canine friend could be just what he needs to blossom even more. Griff would do best in a suburban home where life is a little quieter and less overwhelming than a busy city environment. What Griff needs most is a patient, understanding family willing to give him the time and space to settle in. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion whose quiet affection and gentle spirit will fill your home with warmth. If you believe that the best things in life are worth waiting for, Griff may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply today and give Griff the happy forever home he deserves! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
