About Clara

Meet CLARA beginning at 12pm on Saturday, April 18 at the Merriam PetSmart located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. You can adopt our cats from the adoption center at PetSmart. Adoption hours are 12–5 PM Monday–Saturday and 12–4 PM on Sundays. —————— 2 years old • Female • 10.5 lbs Clara’s sweet face and soulful eyes make her hard to forget. She's scared and confused after being surrendered by her person. She will be so happy to be in a home again with a new family who will give her some time to settle in. Clara tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a life-long disease that keeps their immune system lowered. However, FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives just like FIV- cats. They can even be housed together, which is explained in the link provided. You can find more information on this virus at https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus. Clara will need to be a TOTALLY INDOOR CAT. Clara needs a fresh start and a family to call her own.... could that be you? ADOPTING A CAT
