Dog's Name: Johnny (JOH0426ALAMD) Estimated Breed: Dachshund Approximate Age: 9 months Approximate Weight: 10 lbs Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $750 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Here's Johnny! Johnny is a young Dachshund who got his second chance at life thanks to K-9 Lifesavers. Rescued along with his brothers Scotty and Frankie, Johnny is now safe, thriving, and ready to find the forever home he's been waiting for. This sweet little guy is pure affection. Johnny absolutely loves to cuddle—whether he's curled up in your lap, tucked beside you on the couch, or quietly following you around just to stay close. He's the kind of dog who will be your constant, loving companion through it all. Johnny also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with a canine friend or one looking to add a second pup. He's very friendly and just wants to be part of a family where he can feel safe and loved. With his adorable Dachshund charm and heart-melting personality, Johnny is ready to fill your home with warmth, companionship, and plenty of snuggles. All that's missing is you. Could Johnny be your perfect match? Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
