About Zeus

Meet Zeus—a handsome brindle boy with a big heart and lots of love to give! Zeus came to the shelter on 4/16 when his previous owner’s long work hours left him without the time and attention he deserves. Now, he’s hoping for a fresh start with a family who can truly make him part of their everyday life. Zeus is the total package—house trained, great with kids, and friendly with other dogs. Volunteers can’t say enough good things about him, describing him as affectionate, athletic, and eager to please. He already knows several commands like sit, down, and stay, and he loves showing off how smart he is! Like many young, energetic dogs, Zeus gets excited on walks and can pull on the leash. With a little patience, consistency, and love, he’ll make a wonderful walking companion in no time. He’s looking for someone who’s ready to match his energy and help him continue learning and growing. Zeus has been let down once, and he deserves a home that’s forever. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will be by your side through it all, Zeus is waiting to meet you. Zeus is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 79 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Zeus is waiting patiently in kennel 832; his ID # is 18300.
