Ozark
AvailableOzark is a small, adult female Yorkie Poo located in Hartland, WI. She is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Her shy but resilient spirit has helped her adjust well to home life, especially with the support of other dogs. Ozark is looking for a patient family ready to help her continue building confidence.
About Ozark
Ozark is a petite Yorkie Poo with an unmistakable look—a long, low frame and striking coloring that bring to mind a little Dachshund, making her stand out in the best way. When she first came from a breeder, just about every new thing made her cautious and a bit timid. After some time in foster care, Ozark has started to find her footing. She still shows some hesitation in unfamiliar situations, but her confidence is building every day as she learns what it's like to feel safe and cared for. Ozark is consistent with house training, settles well into routine, and is developing her personality as she adjusts. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a calm, confident canine buddy to help her feel secure. Watching her run up and down stairs, play in the yard, and become part of the pack has been a testament to her resilience and gentle nature. She's doing well with her eating habits and leash walking. She's looking for a home that will support her continued growth—one willing to help her stay on course and celebrate her progress as she gains independence and trust. Ozark will do best with an adopter committed to patience, compassion, and structure. Families with children under six are not a fit, and only adopters in WI, IL, or parts of MN are eligible.
